Jason Le Masurier

INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKING

Jason’s candid and inspirational account of his remarkable achievements, from learning to walk again to completing a triathlon and marathon alongside his wife offer a true definition of resilience. If anyone can offer good advice in this area it is Jason’.

Professor Susan Clough, University of Bolton

Jason gave an emotional and engaging presentation to Headway South Manchester and Stockport. Jason has an inspirational story to tell and he tells it with good humour. The group found his story moving and relatable and it sparked an interesting discussion about coping strategies and resilience. I would highly recommend Jason to speak at any event as his story is powerful and his message is relatable.

WORKSHOPS

‘Jason recently presented at the Transportation Conference 2021 organized by the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies British Columbia (ACEC-BC). On behalf of the conference organizing committee, I would like to thank Jason for taking the time to share his intimate and personal message with us.

Despite being in two different countries and across time zones, Jason successfully navigated the virtual meeting platforms to deliver his message and this was very positively received by our audience. He has used his background in engineering to develop the TIC TOC CLOC framework which was especially relevant for our audience. This provides a good prompt for us when faced with an uncertain situation. It is especially relevant given the current situation in the world as a result of COVID, and is also directly applicable in managing any day-to-day challenges that engineers see in industry.’

Melina Mascarenhas, secretary, Association of Consulting Engineers, British Columbia.

“Jason Le Masurier has an amazing story to tell, describing his journey over the last decade, recovering from a serious brain injury. Both moving and inspirational, Jason’s talk gets across powerful messages about overcoming life-changing crises and achieving the impossible (according to experts).

In this workshop Jason reveals his new management thinking, combining his experiences through recovery with his background in managing uncertainty in engineering. His TIC TOC CLOC framework brings a new perspective on how to think about and manage uncertainty. Particularly relevant for coping with the business uncertainties created by both COVID and BREXIT. “

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKING

‘I gave a talk recently at the Professional Speaking Association (East Midlands) where Dr Jason Le Masurier was also giving a keynote speech. I must say that I found his presentation to be both moving and inspiring. He has overcome such adversity in his life, and it is clear that he wishes to help others do the same. His TIC TOC CLOC model is a useful and practical way to help them to do this. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Jason as a speaker at your next event’.

Anne Leatherhead, professional speaking coach.

“I had the absolute pleasure of hearing Jason speak at a recent PSA event and was totally blown away. His personal story is gripping, humbling and inspiring. He is a true example of how mindset really matters and can help you overcome virtually anything! The TIC TOC CLOC model is simple to follow and incredibly effective. A very practical approach to handling what life throws your way, professionally or personally. I will forever remember the quote “whenever there is uncertainty, there is opportunity.”

Donna E Smith Professional Speaking Association, Midlands.

“Jason addressed the entire student body in our school. He also gave his keynote presentation at the school’s annual awards dinner. The students found him inspirational and took a lot from his talk. His very personal story shows that no matter what life throws at us, with sheer grit and determination, great things can be accomplished. In a world where young people are constantly faced with challenges, Jason’s inspiring story shows them that they can overcome any challenge with positive thinking, hard work and perseverance. Jason’s story is inspirational.”

Anne Gorby, Principal, Mercy college Sligo

“Jason’s talk “Never waste a crisis” encapsulated not only an open, honest and truly inspirational story for all to hear. It also offered a real opportunity for everyone present to stop and reflect unreservedly on how each of us when faced with uncertainty, could consider two very distinct pathways – catalyst or catastrophe! ”

Ahlem Boujnah, Education & Training Lead, Chailey Clinical Services, Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust

“Jason spoke at one of our large support groups and it was very well received. We at the Brain Injury NZ support group really appreciated Jason’s presentation. There was a lot of positive feedback in the following weeks from the members. The group generally felt that it was great to hear from someone who has lived experience of the issues they face. They were also interested to hear about the strategies Jason adopted to aid his recovery. I felt that the casual manner in which Jason presented information made it very accessible and the instructiveness of his presentation worked very well for our audience. We would love to schedule Jason for future presentations to the support groups in other areas covered by Brain Injury New Zealand”.
